We’ve been saying it for months: Barack Obama broke the law.
The only question left is, how many times did he break it, and in how many ways?
By all rights, he should be under suspicion for ignoring and perhaps even protecting America’s enemies. The evidence on that score is just beyond frightening
But until that day comes, perhaps we should be happy with Congress pursuing its FULL investigation of our former president, specifically for the massive IRS scandal that broke some time ago.
The farther we get from Obama’s reign, the more crimes we learn about.
The latest involves Obama’s blatant violation of one of this country’s most sacred documents: The Constitution. Many have said Obama overstepped the boundaries of the Constitution during his presidency.
Now, the Supreme Court agrees. Via Western Journalism:
“The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that President Barack Obama-violated the Constitution by maintaining former acting National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Lafe Solomon after the Senate refused to vote on his nomination.
Obama named Solomon acting general counsel of the NLRB in June 2010 after Ronald Meisburg’s resignation the same month. Six months later, in Jan. 2011, Solomon was nominated to serve as the agency’s permanent general counsel.
However, the Senate refused to vote on Solomon’s nomination, leaving him as both the acting and nominated general counsel of the NLRB for three years until Richard Griffin’s confirmation in the fall of 2013.”
Chief Justice John Roberts ruled in the 6-2 decision that Obama’s move was an “end-run around” the Constitution.
“’We cannot cast aside the separation of powers and the Appointments Clause’s important check on executive power for the sake of administrative convenience or efficiency, Roberts wrote in the ruling opinion.
‘The Judicial Branch must be most vigilant in guarding the separation between the political powers precisely when those powers collude to avoid the structural constraints of our Constitution.’”
This isn’t the first time Obama was caught breaking the rules.
Five years ago, the court ruled unanimously that Obama unconstitutionally recess-appointed two NLRB board members while the Senate was still in session. The fallout was significant, as over 1,000 decisions were challenged by employers and unions.
The bottom line is that Obama has a history of doing this. He got around rules he didn’t like and flat-out lied to the American people throughout his presidency.
And he says it was “scandal-free”? …right.
